Imec is Europe's leading independent research center in nanoelectronics and nanotechnology. More than 1,750 employees from all over the world work together in this unique institute with headquarters in Leuven, Belgium and offices in the United States, Taiwan, Japan, China and the Netherlands.
They perform research 3 to 10 years ahead of industrial needs. It's research covers IC process technologies, advanced packaging and process integration of heterogeneous technologies, smart system and energy technologies including photovoltaics, biomedical electronics and organic electronics, all supported by a strong background in design methodologies to create electronic systems of the future.
